About Made By Billie

Five years ago, I never could have imagined that a simple curiosity would grow into something that means so much to me.

Made By Billie has become so much more than a jewellery brand. It’s a place where I get to create pieces with intention, connect with incredible people, tell stories through my work, and make something that I hope becomes part of your own journey too.

I create all of my work from my quirky, makeshift caravan studio tucked away at the back of my home. Over the years, this little space has become so much more than just a studio, it has become a huge part of my identity and the heart of my brand. I’m incredibly grateful for this humble little caravan and everything it has allowed me and my jewellery to grow into.

My process

My process is raw, thoughtful, and rooted in making jewellery that feels personal and built to last.

I use a few different techniques, such as wire fabrication, lost wax casting and my most favourite; a process called sand casting, an ancient technique that’s over 2,000 years old.

It starts with a hand carved wax piece (all done by me<3) pressed into oil bonded sand, creating a mould. I pour molten metal (solid sterling silver or gold) into that negative space. The process leaves subtle, natural textures that can’t be replicated. No two casts are ever identical.
